The 2004 Ford F-250 is a full-size, heavy-duty pickup truck that can seat up to six people. It’s built for drivers who need more muscle for hauling and towing duties than a standard F-150 can muster.
The F-250 Super Duty is an exceptionally large “three-quarter-ton” pickup that’s engineered to tackle the most challenging duties, yet it can be equipped like a luxury vehicle for weekends on the town. It’s available in a Regular Cab configuration with a front bench seat and two doors, a SuperCab with rear clamshell-opening access panels and a small backseat, and a Crew Cab with four full doors and a backseat roomy enough to hold three adults wearing cowboy hats. It’s powered by a standard 260-horsepower 5.4-liter V8 engine, but available upgrades include a 310-horsepower 6.8-liter V10 and a 325-horsepower 6.0-liter turbodiesel V8. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard, with 4- and 5-speed automatics available. The F-250 can tow up to 14,200 pounds when properly equipped.
