2016 Ford Taurus 4dr Sdn SE FWD

2016 Ford Taurus 4dr Sdn SE FWD clean title.

Slip into this Gray 2016 Ford Taurus and you’ll remember why big sedans still make so much sense. With a 3.5L V6 under the hood and front-wheel drive confidence, it’s built for smooth commuting, long highway stretches, and those “let’s take the scenic way home” moments—without feeling bulky or hard to handle. Tap into the driver-selectable transmission mode when you want a little more say in how it responds, then settle into a quiet, comfortable cabin that’s ready for real life: cupholders where you need them, smart storage throughout, and a roomy trunk for groceries, luggage, or last-minute weekend plans.

On the road, this Taurus keeps things composed thanks to a well-balanced suspension setup, speed-sensing power steering, and sure-footed 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS and brake assist. Daily usability gets a boost from the back-up camera, approach lighting, rear window defroster, and easy remote trunk access—handy when your arms are full.

Safety-minded touches like side-impact protection, a full curtain airbag system, tire pressure monitoring, and Ford’s MyKey controls add extra peace of mind.

And because transparency matters, a CARFAX report is available for this Taurus—so you can shop with confidence before you ever hit the start button.

Driving the Ford Taurus

If there is one predominant story told by Ford’s 2016 Taurus sedan, it’s about value. With a price starting well under $30,000, the Taurus offers full-size comfort and performance in a family sedan that comes nicely equipped out of the box or can be fully loaded. Big, quiet and soft-riding, the Taurus won’t slay a BMW 5 Series in the curves, but thanks to its potent standard V6 and even more potent choice of turbo or twin-turbocharged engines, getting up to speed is never a concern. Ford’s Torque Vectoring and Curve Control help manage the Taurus’ considerable bulk, leaving the driver to enjoy the road or any number of interior conveniences. We didn’t care for the Taurus’ thick front windshield pillars and wide B-pillar by the driver’s head. Both contribute to a cocoon-like feeling inside the car, a perception amplified when the interior color choice is black.
